At 155 Wellesley, the Wellesley–St. James Town Health Centre occupies a two-storey L-shaped podium that wraps the base of the residential tower. This form binds the tower to the street and emphasizes its civic role, with dark metal cladding and generous glazing creating a clear public identity. The transparent second level connects the centre to the surrounding neighbourhood, while the ground floor provides accessible community-focused services. Together, the podium and tower integrate housing and healthcare within a unified urban presence.
